Here's the little skinner from a few days ago and Curly. Curly is the one with the piercing. Both blades were forged from the same saw steel but two different boards of curly maple. Curly came from a chunk of instrumental grade. Curly has a 4 1/2" blade and just under 9 1/2" overall. I also used wagon wheel wrought iron for the fittings on Curly.

Actually, that really appeals to me! A great little basic user reminiscent of a Puukko... Did you make a sheath for it? I think a dangler style would really set that off!! :D

Not yet. The finish isn't even dry yet on Curly. I'm not sure if a dangler style would work since the blade comes down lower than the handle. I'll see what I can do.

You're pobably right.. I hadn't thought of that... Maybe a semi-horizontal belt sheath then... Still, just enough Scandi-influence to appeal to me!

Gonna be down at Eugene this year? Looking forward to seeing whatcha bring this time!

Cheers!

Watched your demo last year, along with Scott Matsuoka... Will have to watch again...
Thanks!:D
