My new pt has developed slight side to side blade play... Not a huge deal but would like to be able to adjust it. I have researched the subject a bit and didn't find many ideas... Anyone taken apart one of these? Also pics and or links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have one of these as well. I haven't taken it apart, but I have tightened the pivot. Bit of a pain but doable if you have the right tools.

I used a victorinox flathead on one side (any that fits will do) and for the three prong side I used a pair of Circlip (sp?) pliers. It will fit two of the prongs but it works. I picked it up at a hardware store; most should have them.

I'd post pics but I'm at work right now.

Heres a pic of circlip pliers, I got mine at harbor freight and they're pretty similar(cost 5 bucks). I bought mine for some axle work, but they're pretty handy to have around.

A watch case wrench might work too, depending on the fingers in the set.

Thanks a lot for the advice and pics, guys. I will look around my local blowes for the circlip pliers and I do have a set of small flat head screw drivers that should do the trick, I hope. Thanks again!
