Current 710-1401, still having issues?

I had preordered a 710-1401 and got mine with the first batch. While I wouldn't say I was disappointed with it, it certainly wasn't perfect. The swedge and edge geometry was uneven, the blade didn't go into the handle enough that it even cut me once, and there was a small section of G10 missing.

Being out of the country, I did not get a chance to send it back, and used it anyways. It performed well and I'm thinking of getting another. I would like this one to be perfect though as I will this will be my "nice" one.

I'm wondering if the most recent run of these has improved from what initially came out? Has anyone gotten one recently that can post pictures?

I dont know what batch mine came out of but everything about it is perfect...bought mine roughly two months ago if that means anything batch wise. I am just pretty sure it did NOT come out of the first batch

If you go to the KnifeWorks page for the Benchmade 710-1401 you'll see this:

"With the previous run, there was some issues with the blade height. We have received the second run and the issue is resolved. We have checked the knives and These are good to go.!!"

I just got mine in the mail last Friday.
Mine is perfect, no issues at all....
-No blade sticking out
-No blade hitting the standoffs
-No off center blade
-No machining marks visible
-No uneven grind lines
-No missing pieces of G10.........................it's Perfect.

I got one of the very last ones before they went on backorder a couple weeks back. It's more or less perfect. Maybe just a fraction of a mm of asymmetry in the swedge, if you are searching hard for something to nit pick, but that's it. Also, my G10 handles are blue in the center, which I think looks awesome. This is a fabulous blade.
