Before the new discounts sucks all the money out of your wallets.

Currently, there are 42 plain scaled BG -42, 301s left and only two with logos.

Talk to John Foresman.

How do I get in touch with John Foresman?

His Bladeforums name is BuckCustom. Go up to the BCCI thread at the top of the Busk Forum and click on BuckCustom and send him a email or private message giving your desire and he will give you the details. 300

They are made in the Custom shop, as a special order for BCCI. There design is standard. Mine are both right on. I hope everyone else's are also. Click on above photos. 300

Are the fit and finish pretty much standard, w/standard (not comfort) bolsters? Thanks. :)

The fit and finish are far above "standard". These have the finish one would expect from the Buck Custom Shop: Flawless.

Ivory Micarta. Dead nuts flat springs in all positions of all blades. Zero Gaps anywhere.
BG42 steel with a Paul Bos heat treat. Before PM steels became common, BG42 was considered to be the ultimate, a goodly step beyond the performance of 154CM and ATS34.

The BCCI has extras and is selling them to the uncircumcised (non-members), such as I.
Mine arrived today. I don't see myself carrying anything else for quite a spell.

Do you have a price on the one's without the logo?

Sorry Ribeye, We promoted them too well here at the last. All unmarked ones are sold out of the clubs hands. But, the word a few days ago had 5 with BCCI logo left. (a little sandpaper would cure that) As I understand it, logo knives will be sold to anyone. Contact Buckcustom@aol.com for details.

Thanks everyone for your tolerance on this BCCI project. I was excited to get a BG -42 301 out there and pushed the boundary on what is right and wrong for talking about selling. As I have said, we can talk about what they are, where they were found, but not how much any knife costs. You will have to go find out that yourself. I justified it as being a BCCI sale but that's standing on the cliff edge of the rules. And won't do it again. Thanks to all who helped in this project. I still have hope to someday talk up a fancy metal Buck 303 in jigged bone. But, it may take a while.

I like the logo one also but figure the one without would be a little cheaper. I don't think I'll be able to afford the asking price on this right now and the few that are up for sale elsewhere are out of my league price wise. Thanks anyway.

Ribeye, It will take nearly but not quite a Ben Franklin note to buy one. There was no difference in price. The BCCI broke down and sold them openly to get the money to pay off the account. Something they don't do with every club knife offer. If you want one email BuckCustom, he is John Foresman, the President of the Buck Collectors Club, Inc. and see what the situation is.

I have the production 301. What's the pull like on the bg-42 compared to the production one? Same, stronger, or weaker?
