Hey gang, I have recently become interested in the traditional stacked leather hunter knives. I have a Case Finn in my tackle box and I am considering a larger model for an all around woods knife. I am wondering about the durability of the current production and if it would stand up to camp/hunting/fishing/carving well? I have no intention of batoning or any of that stuff. I just want a general purpose fixed blade that is durable. I am considering the drop point mushroom cap 4". I don't need anything longer, and I figure the drop point will add durability. Thank in advance.

Guys love them. Does it have to be stainless?
Stainless is not one of my criteria. I want stacked leather, about 4" blade length, made in usa, and well under 100 USD. Also I don't want a super thick "bushcraft" blade. Thanks for the reply!

I've used the Case 365-5 to skin and butcher deer one season. It is a good knife, no issues (I still prefer Buck over Case in stainless steel). OH

Thanks, OH! I'm still gonna use my 102 and 105 for hunting. I just want this for a woods knife for messing around the camping, hiking and general BSing in the woods.
