I would like to hear about your current traditional knives and the other carry items used on a daily basis. Please show pictures of you can!

It almost sounds like you're searching for trouble, given the fate of your other thread. :rolleyes:

For me, "complete EDC" would include everything in my pockets (pants, shirt, and coat) and about 12 pounds of stuff in my back pack. Unfortunately, more than 90% of the items are not knives and wouldn't be relevant (nor would they be welcome by most) here.

I apologize for being so cantankerous, but pandemics put me on edge! :(

I am new to blade forums and am trying to learn the ropes of how to post and manage my own threads. I’m not looking for trouble but I do not appreciate others (specifically others who have replied to my thread) spreading negativity during such a tough time when the internet is the only entertainment for people stuck inside.
 
When in Rome . . .read for a while!! Buy a membership so users can talk to you on line but off the forum!!

I'm stuck in the house also - post-stroke - but I try to tune into my friends here and contribute!! I don't tell anyone to do things my selfish (and not so relevant) way!!

Maybe spend some time reading and interacting instead of trying to start so many threads. This is a nice place to hang out.
 
This was pretty much my complete traditional EDC a few months back ( minus my hat and boots )

It's not current and the knives are always changing every week, but the setup was used for most of last year.

First, welcome. Glad to have you.

Second, you have stumbled upon what is probably the friendliest corner of BladeForums. I promise.

You may have gotten off to a rough start, but don’t let that discourage you. This sub forum has a relatively narrow focus. If you want to talk about traditional knives, this is absolutely the place to be. But you won’t find many people here who want to discuss items other than these knives. There are a few threads that combine traditional knives with other items (knives and guns, knives and watches, etc.), so perhaps down the road you could open a thread along the kinds of “What Do You Carry with Your Traditional Knife,” but my recommendation would be to take a little time to get the feel
for this place and the people who are active in it before you do so.

Again, welcome!
 
I would just add: try out the "Search" function.

You will likely find a thread that covers what you're looking for and then some. Additionally, posting questions/observations/etc. within previously established threads makes the search process easier for the next person(s), frees the forum of clutter and makes forum life a little easier for all of us... especially the moderators.
 
Thank you hickory n steel and frailer for being patient with me with your responses. I would be trying to find the threads similar to what I am looking for but my phone doesn’t always work right or allow me to find the results I need when using the search.

The primary discussion forums are just about knives. All the other cool stuff that goes in our pockets belongs in the "Gadgets and Gear" Forum.

If nothing else, it's a great place to get ideas about cool things that we did not know we needed. That forum has caused me to pause my knife purchases more than once in order to fulfill some previously unknown equipment need.

But meanwhile, I'll close this thread. ;)
