I hope that with the current events of recent threads that this forum will resist the temptation to turn into a bill board of personal agendas and continue in open discussion and fundamental ethics. I think it was very inappropriate to post a pic that can be considered immoral and improper to say the least the person will rename nameless (you can fill in the blanks). However, I do have a respect for other work done by the forumie. On another note, I was disheartened on how responses to a thread on the Gunting were handled on both sides. I do not think anyone was looking to take sides nor bad mouth anyone though it turned out that way. In the world we live in if you pull any type of object other than your fist its considered escalation. You can disagree with that until your blue in the face but its the simple truth. Its the who is the biggest boy on the block syndrome and sooner or later most people will realize that in the end. However, I am all for a great knife or tool if properly used even if I disagree with movtivation behind the concept. Well, I just had to vent and say my peace on some issues. Lets be a little more civil and considerate of other peoples view on issues and morals. Thanks! :p

Man, am I with you on that sentiment! When I first started reading all the negativity in question, I just up 'n left the area for a while.

Hope everyone is cooling off again. If not, I guess I'll just ignore the downers.

Although, for the record...I LIKE the pic. Really nice tattoo design.

I think both side overreacted a little bit... Bram can be a little tactless when defending his "baby" and I totally understand that. And the other guys kept saying the same things (bad looking, expensive, blablabla..).

As for the picture itself, I'm more offended by some ideas expressed in the Political Forum (SYK anyone? :) ) than a woman in thong, but I understand other people's view.

Life goes on...

If we are supposed to "be considerate of other peoples view on issues and morals" as you suggest, then I submit that calling someone else's post "immoral and improper", as you also did, is being a bit inconsistent.

IMOHO there was nothing immoral about the image posted and the only improper part was that there was no knife in the image  . It hardly even merits a PG rating.

Just my personal opinion. Everyone else is entitled to their own.

I'm going to have to go with 4 s ter on this one. A picture of a nice butt is hardly "immoral". And a nice butt it is.

Three cheers for Simona!!Hip Hip, Hooray! I will gladly defend her Anytime, and I don't need no Gunting or any other tool to do it!
