The traditional forum's Charlie Campagna (Waynorth) is prominently mentioned in Bernard Levine's column in the current issue of Knife World. Charlie found some punch patents that Levine wasn't previously aware of.

I know Charlie has also had an article published in KW in the past. We're lucky that Charlie shares his knowledge and scans of his knives here. Thanks Charlie.

Also, there's a color picture by Coop of the Tony Bose Yukon knife in ivory with engraving by Joe Mason in this month's KW. I believe a forum member acquired that knife from Blade last year.

I still haven't figured out how you guys are getting your copy of KW so dang early! I never see a copy before the 1st of the month.

Charlie is a great researcher from what I have seen and has a wonderful collection and huge knowledge that he shares with everyone. I sit and drool over his many posts.
Thanks to Charlie for freely sharing with us all.

Regards

Robin

Congrats to Charlie for the much deserved recognition and thanks, Mike, for the heads up.

Congratulations Charlie. Thanks for all the knowledge you share with us.

yea charlie, thanks for everything here and you've inspired me in the schrade forum. thanks again- Joel

Thanks for the kind words guys. I am just a dilettante compared to the guys who do the real work.
Being a dinosaur of sorts, I thank all those who find the stuff on the internet for me. When cyberspace sees me coming, it folds in on itself, and locks the door!
But I think we are all agreed, without these forums, knife collecting wouldn't be half as much fun!

P.S. I can't wait to get my copy!!
Err . . . I guess I'll have to. . . . .

Triple Post!
What'd I tell ya? Dinosaur for sure!!
