Anyone know what knives are currently issued by the US military and to what branch? Probably quite a variety...

The M9 multi-purpose bayonet is standard issue. Check with Ontario or Buck for more on them.

For the Marines, We still have the M7 bayonet and KaBar. Even though the KaBar haven`t been issue for us since WWII.

The Corps has developed a new Multipurpose blade that will replace both of the blades mention above.

Personally I didn`t want the change but I finally seen a good fighting knife that I see worthy to have on my service weapon.

The military isn't real big on issuing knives; the only standard issue to most units is a bayonet of some type or another. Some get the M9, others get the older M7. Few soldiers who aren't deployed get to see them though, they're mostly kept locked up. I believe demolitions guys get some sort of multi-tool, SEALs use the Mission MPS, and Army Special Forces are now being issued the Chris Reeve/Bill Harsey Yarborough, seen at www.chrisreeve.com . I know that a Benchmade auto is also in the supply system and can be ordered, but I doubt that even most soldiers know that. I found out about it in Knifeforums the Magazine. Those are the only ones I know of, but I'm sure there are others I missed.
