I didn't know if we had a list of the currently operating traditional knife factories? I don't see as many questions from members on the companies out there, but I figured I'd try a little compilation...

USA

Buck Knives (110/112, 3** series, 1** fixed blades)

WR Case
Great Eastern Cutlery (GEC, Tidioute, Northfield UNXLD, Farm and Field, Northwoods)

Queen Cutlery (Queen, Schatt and Morgan, Tuna Valley, Moore Maker, Northwoods)

Bear and Sons (USA marked Remington made after Camillus closed)

Utica Cutlery

Colonial Cutlery

Opinel

Mora

Victorinox

Fallkniven

Helle

Randall Knives

I believe Queen still holds the Robeson name, although not sure if they ever plan on making any of them again. Also, occasionally Cripple Creeks parts were made at either Queen or GEC. And Blue Ridge knives holds the "Winchester" name, but not sure who makes the current ones.

Since you list Opinel, Victorinox, and a few other non-USA brands, there is Rough Rider, Colt, Marbles, (Shudder) Cold Steel (Ranch (srockman), Kudu, Eland, Canadian Belt knife, Pendelton), Condor, and thanks to an old thing hour, I can't think of the name of that Canadian company that makes the fixed blade Cold Steel's "Canadian Belt Knife" is based on.
Re-reading your list, Morakniv and MAM can be added, as well.

The problem with the Chinese companies like rough rider...ect is that we don't exactly know the exact factory situation. I'm sure rough rider must have their own factory, but what about imperial ,schrade ...ect I wonder if rough rider is one huge Chinese factory that does most of the production of decent Chinese pocket knives ? Does anyone know weather the imperial and schrades are possibly made in the RR factory ?
steel warrior may have their own factor because other Rockwell tested frost brands seem to be the exact same, plus there are swords and a whole bunch of other types of decent quality knives from Steel warrior.

In France there are too many... here just a few making folding knives in a real factory, not just a workshop. There are many more (and I don't include Corsica and many towns) if you include hunters and kitchen tools (often the name is diffrent for kitchen and folders)

I do believe that [at least one store] carries the Queen-made Robeson line. Not sure if they are New Old Stock or continuing production, though.
