Curse you, well made knives (2nd Fiddleback ordered!!!!!)

I just ordered a Duke from the Outpost. I got the Camp Knife and there is enough that I like about it that I needed...er...wanted a little smaller knife. I just wish I hadn't waited until Thursday. I won't get it until Monday (or Tuesday) so no fun this weekend. I will probably wait until next weekend to get out and 'do'.

I like to have the option of carrying something a little smaller to go along with my Duke...

Kephart 1/8" steel in a cross-draw to complement a 5/32" Duke or 3/16" Camp with a strong-side carry... You'll be set to wander the woods.

It's big enough that it handles light chopping well

Controllable enough to handle feathersticks fine

And then does well where it really counts too

This is why we always recommend that people buy several Fiddleback Forge knives - even if there is no immediate 'need'.

I too am looking at the Duke to be added to my collection. I have the Camp Knife and Kephart today and there may be little need for a model in-between them for me personally, but logic has never dictated by purchasing decisions before, so I don't see a reason for it to do it now.

Congrats on the purchase - we're shipping it today!

Mistwalker, I saw those photos before and they helped with the inspiration to purchase!

This will be my first knife in S35VN and I'm kind of nervous. Not sure what to expect. I'm mostly a 3V guy. People really seem to like it. I've also got some Cruforge V and (soon, I hope) some 20CV to compare it to. Still need to get out and do the long review with both the Camp Knife and now the Duke.

So much fun, so little time!!!

It is cornflower blue G10 and black canvas micarta.
