Here we have a piece by Curt Erickson that will soon be on it's way to the 2014 Solvang Knife Show. Description appears below images:

Gents Art Dagger - Gemstone-grade pietersite handle. Stainless guard w/ gun-blued steel/ raised 24kt gold and French gray. German silver sheath with gun-blued button to match dagger fittings. Guard, pommel and sheath button set with red garnet gemstones. Engraving by Julie Warenski-Erickson.

All I can do is quote (and completely agree with) what Phil Lobred said
in his Foreword to Julie's book:

"... Curt and Julie are certainly two people to watch. Together, they are making

Called Phyllis down to look at the photo and her first response -- "I want that" I think this is my favorite of their knives but many would be a joy to own. This is truly special.
 
Great looking combo, I especially like the gold work....it is different in a good way.
