This knife was delivered to Phil a few weeks ago but the "pro" image only just arrived from Eric Eggly. Wow, what a magnificent piece. The sheath throat and ball are solid 18k as is the ferrule/guard (note that the beads are carved, not inlaid). Inlays of 24k. Magnificent work by Julie. Great walrus ivory.

IMHO, this is one superb masterpiece. Hope you enjoy the new image. Phil, you lucky dog!

Bob

ps: There's a great story about this knife and it's design which will be told in time, but not right now and certainly not by me.

WOW!!! That sure is a Masterpiece! The ferrule and guard are stunning and simply world class work by Julie.

Pleasure seeing it Bob.

Phil has an incredible collection of SF style knives. I love to look at them whenever he displays them at a Guild show.

Just beautiful. The handle carving is so flowing and carefree. A pleasure to witness.

Masterfully captured. Thanks!

A slightly different style than I am used to seeing in the SF genre, but stunning to be sure.

It's Phil and Curt's rendition of a VERY RARE Michael Price clip point SF bowie. It's one of my favorites.
