Curtiss F3 blade centering?

I Have an all stonewashed f3 with the blade center slightly to the left when closed. Now this leaves about only .006 of an inch clearance between the blade and the and the closed lock, a piece of paper (powerball lottery ticket) will slide through the gap snuggly, rubbing on the blade and lock. The lock looks like it touching the blade just before where the finger choil starts, unless you shine a light behind the knife. Is this Normal and how is the knife going to break in, I can push the blade against the liner when closed. Will the blade start centering over time during the breaking in process/or will it eventually start rubbing the framelock. Also is there a way to get the centering better on this knife, I figure it is not a good idea to mess with the pivot on this knife because of the IKBS bearings. Don't want to bother Dave with this, being that he is so busy..
