Here's one I forged Monday. Tried a little different procedure to forge the clip and it worked out better than I thought it would. The blade on this one is 9" and the steel is W-5. Wrought iron fittings and an ironwood handle. 15" overall but 3" shorter that the blade on Jumbo. This is a big knife.

Nice lines and flow between handle and blade shape Ray!
Looks comfortable... and wicked! :D

Joe, Thanks for the lift up! This was heading south fast. Not sure if I mentioned to you about doing this: http://nwkc.org/news_page.html Dave Lisch and I will be doing a forging demo together. He's been into knives for a couple years now but has also been a blacksmith for a number of years. Got to watch him do a candle stick forging demo out of pipe last weekend during a public venue in Stevenson, Wa.. He's really talented plus I think he's a bit of a comedian. We'll be doing the demo tomorrow. Not sure what time. This was a spare of the moment show.
