I don't post in this sub-forum much, but I thought I would share this one.

It was designed by a good customer in the land of Oz. He actually sent me a paper template, but allowed me to modify as I saw fit.

5/32" O-1
Walnut Scales (Thanks Don Hanson)
Stainless handle bolts
OAL - 8 1/4"
Blade Tip-to-Handle - 4"

As per Keith, what's the function of the design?
A mini-cleaver?

But having said that, your fit/finish and execution of design looks impeccable.

Kevin and Keith,

The customer didn't say what he would be using this knife for. Maybe he will be chasin' down some "roos".:D

I don't ask a lot of questions unless the customer is somewhat "iffy" about a design. I have said it before, and I will say it again......... The customer is always right...... Most of the time.

looks nice:thumbup:. Swoopy curvy-ness!
I'd be interested to see it next to the paper template, just to understand how you interpreted his 2D into your 3D.

Generally speaking, I agree with you in that "the customer is always right".
However, the customer's name is not the one that's etched into the knife for eternity. ;) :)

I agree Kevin. That's why I wouldn't make something that is so far out in left field that no one would take a second look at it. I have had some strange requests, and have politely turned them down.
