can any one tell me what is the best way to get the curve out of an old leaf spring?

I don't have a torch so is it time for a big fire in the back yard?


Anyone know of a maker in or around Little Rock Arkansas that would be willing to help a wannabe out?

Well, it's gotta be heated. Charcoal in a pit and a hairdryer for a blower will work.

the last attempt was a 3 foot hole in the ground and a leaf blower.

kinda lost some eyebrows trying to get it out and when i finally did it was slag.
