Does anyone know if Buck customer service has an email. I just had a question for them. No complaint. Maybe someone here knows. On the stag Alaskan guides 110 by Cabela's , are the handles secured with just epoxy or is there some type of pins you don't see?? My concern is if its just epxoy was this knife intended for use or just looks? Will the epoxy weaken with age? I have one for my collection and one for use, but if the epoxy will weaken with age I don't want to tak a chance of the stag falling off and breaking. Thanks.

Epoxy only.

I have not heard of the stag falling off. Probably has under some wierd use around solvents...probably...but just 'cuz I have not heard of it doesn't mean much.

Your mileage may vary.

Please feel free to send me an email if you ever have a question. jhouser@buckknives.com

It is very rare that we get any knife back for the inlay falling off. We use a pretty good glue. It can happen, but the times I do see it, it is with very old, and somewhat abused knives.
I hope this helps.

Thanks , Joe. Yes it does help. I'm not planning on abusing it ,just using it. I just wanted to make sure as it is some of the nicest stag I've seen on a knife.
