yes, i bet 90% of you guessed the color before you even clicked the link, but i still had to show them off. these were done for me by Dan of Kryptoglow in standard, non-glowing orange G10. i know he plans to sell future sets on that auction site, but if anyone wants his contact info to ask for something specific, let me know and i will send you a PM or e-mail. be aware that you will have to remove the torsion bar to use his scales, but i had already de-assisted mine so this was not an issue for me. the work is top notch, price was great (although i did get a discount for letting him use my 0350 as a template), and he kept me regularly informed on the progress. you can't ask for much more!

Thats pretty awesome! I wonder if you messed with a dremel if you could remove enough material in the right spot to still use the torsion bar? are they the same thickness as the standard scales?

bad_juju is correct, you can easily Dremel out the amount required to put the assist back in action.

i could, but i like it better de-assisted anyway. i was running without the torsion bar before i ever considered switching scales, so i won't bother putting it back. the new scales are the exact same thickness as the originals, which was a huge concern of mine. most of the aftermarket scales i have seen for the 0350 are much thicker.

Thats cool, i remember seeing you post up before about de-assisting it. I was just putting that out there for those that were curious!
I like it with the tigerstripe blade!

perfect for a hardcore Clemson fan. :D

Auburn might work too. :p

I think it would look better on the Composite 0350..Then it would be twins with your other ZT

Peter Rasenti (Peter R) could do one in blue and I think he has time now after Blade. Anyone know the status of Philip Dobson these days?

good question I emailed Dobson about some carbon fiber scales for one of my Red Rams and havent heard back

Looks great! They look factory. Definitely a bit harder to lose in the woods.

Thanks! That is exactly the look i was going for. Glad Dan was able to pull it off for me. As with good car modification, i believe you should change just enough to make people notice it is different without them being able to figure out exactly what you changed.
