Im wanting to order a custom 110 to carry in Iraq and was wondering which handle should I get ? Wish they offered Micarta but they dont so Ill settle for something else:) Thanks
 
Your best bet might to be buying a few production runs and have a few spares. If you want something in the upgraded steel, look at Cabela's or Bass Pro Shop. They have a few to choose from. Best of luck to you and stay safe.

Grab the Cabela's 110 Alaskan Guide in stag while they still have them available......while you're at it, grab the regular wood handled one.

Prices are going up, no doubt, and the ones in stag will be gone in a few days.

Don't waste any time.
 
stag has texture that does give a good grip and looks good.
if you want some thing like G10 that can be textured you can contact
( respect full posture )

Dave, this young warrior needs a rubber bucky!! I'll pay for the knife if you do the handles. And it would be one heck of a test. What say ye??

ok will clean up the work bench this weekend...
should i start with a knife i have ..
got a new 95 marked finger grove ..
it will lose "some" of the groveing or
do you want to send a new one?

Well I don't know about the desert heat.But it gets cold when I
deer hunt in the Texas hill country.I like wood.This is becouse
any kind of bone gets cold ............when it's cold out side.
I understand it gets cold.................at night over there.Or so
my brother-in-law says.I would get wood.
This is just me.............
your mileage may very.

But Hawkeye, it's gonna be one of Dave's rubber buckies, so rubber should work fine. Anyhow, it's gonna be a heck of a field test for the bucky prior to production!! :thumbup::thumbup:

PS: Caine, might wanna take a wodden handled spare along just in case though.
 
yes i i have the funds and in process of ordering the grips to do the mod to and put on the knife..this has not been done as i am getting ready to go to post falls soon...
and have some few other commits i am working on ...

i will be doing three knives... yours
one old school with 440C to pass around
and a 112 for bucksway..

it will be easer to do all 3 at once...
now if you are shiping out soon

as i have not picked up a knife as yet ...did you want finger groves or straight line ?
if you want a straight side would you by chance want one of the 2002 anvil marked ones?
these are getting scearce and are collectable. i happen have some new in box that i put away for... safe keeping...;) again your choice if you wanted new year mark again no problumo! ... i is jest the messanger...
