Hi, guys I finished modifying my 42 blade yesterday. Now I have a cross between a Weehawk and the Imada High Hollow (it may already have a proper name but I call it a Deep Belly French Curve Weehawk <laf>) I hope to take some pics tonight with my friends digital cam, but I'm not sure how to post the pic. Who can I send pics to for posting? :o Thanks again guys.
 
Hey AzN_JoNnY, where is that link to all the different blade styles available from the old BM catalog. I looked through the old thread but it's not there anymore, or I could not find it. Anybody know where the old catalog profile pictures are? Thanks!
 
I got to check it out when I was over at Cain's house yesterday and man the blade profile is one badmamajamma. It looks great!! Hope to have pics of my new BM-47a and his in a couple of days. Way to go Cain. Your partner in the flip, TIGER:D
 
Gollnick's site has profiles, as does The Advanced Balisong Manual.
 
has anyone heard when and actually if benchmade is going to make available interchangable blades for the newer balis?

I think that idea has been moved way to the back burner.......It seems the pins aren't wanting to come out of the handles and BM has said disassembly would void the warranty. I don't think it's going to happen.............

Thanks for all the posts guys. Fortunately this time I am not only teasing, last night I actually to some shots of it using my friends digital cam. I'm going to bet that the images are not of the highest quality, I'm going to meet him for lunch and we will get them prepared for posting. Thanks McMahan I'll send you some pics. Hopefully we can get them posted in the thread instead of posting a link to it. I only took a couple of photos, there should be a more complete set of pics after Tiger9 acquires his 47A today.

What type of grinder did you use?
 
Grinder? We don't need no stinking grinder!

No really I used a sharpening stone, took hours, but I did'nt want to use power because I only had one shot at it. A little persistance and allot of patience is all you need to sculpt your desires. Thanks for the nice comments Blade_420. I owe it to McMahan, he is helping me get the best picture posted (it has yet to come), Keep your eyes open for the next (it's better than the three already posted) pic of it.

I'll give anyone an enormous amount of respect if they can tell me what is in the background of the next pic when it is posted!
 
Sorry guys, we are having trouble with the 4th pic. It should be available later this evening. I do not know what is wrong but let's here it for McMahan for helping me out. Thanks again McMahan, You are much appreciated! Remember to keep your eyes out for the 4th pic, I'm sure that someone here knows what is in the background. ;)

Hey Blade_420, how did you download the pics?
 
Does anyone know why sometimes the pics show up for me and sometimes they don't? I'm almost positive I have the right code and picture addresses.

Any suggestions? Also, can you see the pics right now (I can) or have you ever been able to see them on the forum?

P.S. 7Cain it is no problem helping you out- that blade is looking awesome! I just wish that everyone else could easily see the pics.
