here is a recent ebay win: a stag handled, file worked, Schrade+/U.S.A. 6OT, with blade inscription Dale R. Vincent/Salem, OR

Nice looking knife Roland! That stags real nice also, sweet looking all round, well done on that purchase. I see you've been taking pics on a cloudy day, they have come out good also. better than brilliant sunshine.

Excellent. That stag really sets that pattern off. Nice camera work too. I think that new tower is going to be getting some use.

Great knife roland I have my third custom on the way here from dale. I will let you guys see when it gets here. His work is excellent Ive always been more than pleased.- Joel

Thank you all for your kind comments, everyone. You will see something new on Joel's knife when he post's pics of it. I won't spoil the surprise, but I recently bought a Foredom. Joel’s new knife is the first knife on which I have used the Foredom.

A couple of years ago, now Codger gave me a Schrade LTD blank which I believe is the 162UH pattern. Any way I had one of my knife making buddies finish it out a la custom while retaining the original shape and it is pictured below for your viewing pleasure. thanks again, Codger!

Larry, I knew it would always be just a display piece, so I still haven't made a sheath for it. It's one of those" if I ever get caught up, I'm gonna do it" things. Since we first met on this forum 2 or 3 years ago my orders and clientele has easily mutiplied by 5 or 6. Averaging about 16 custom sheaths a week with no end in sight, but I love doing it.

The simple answer is that you are one of the best at what you do!
Your sheaths are awesome!

If I ever get my custom orders caught up, I have a knife that I made from a bar of steel (my first knife totally of my design) that I want to finish & send to you for a sheath.

BTW, that custom Schrade of yours is SWEET!
