I need to give a custom knife as a present. The best thing for now seems to make it a custom - California legal auto (e.g. 2" blade).
Can anybody recommend a custom maker, who can make a custom Ca legal. With a durable hi-end blade (GQ damascus or some exotic steel like s90v or 10v even or at least some 154cm)?
I've got a recommendation of Chris English Custom knives, but I don't really like their Butter Bean. And I wouldn't want to just send emails to all the custom makers, whose works I like, because the request seems a bit exotic (auto and small at the same time).
My budget is around $500 by the way.
P.S. Actually it's the first time in my life, I decide to get a knife done by someone, instead of just choosing from "available", so I can sound like a newbie here.
