Weight : 4 lb 13 oz.
OL : 21 inch
Blade length : 5.7 inch

I have two questions.
1) what is that knife (or other object) right in front of it?(and Airkat?)
2) Does the Axe transform into a giant robot?

tomoyuki nemoto of japan, leading edge of tactical design. pretty much everything he puts out is amazing (if for nothing else, visually)

his stuff basically skirts the edge of being art but also extremely functional

Who made that axe and could you post a link to their website?

The custom knife maker, Mr. Tomoyuki Nemoto was born in Japan on 1971, now lives in Ibaraki, the suburbs of Tokyo in Japan. He was of Japanese Self-Defense Forces Airborne. He has a plan to make his official website in this year. You can see his works more on my website.

I'm going to be seeing that axe in my sleep! Kawasaki, could you tell me how
much something like that retails for?

That is an amazing axe. Looks like the handle pivots and functions as a blade quard when not in use?

while its possible that all the parts of the neck are detachable, i dont see how you could cover all three edges with them easily. it looks more like they are there to add weight near the head without getting in the way ax head itself to much. seriously awesome looking, and id love to try it out on actually wood to see how it handles...

im still really curious as to what the thing is right in front of the ax... it looks like a sword handle, but near the edge of the photo, it looks like it doesnt continue out into an edge. perhaps a pick or a small headed ax? an impact weapon?

thanks, Bladewolf! the axe-Tomoyuki Nemoto Senjyutufu Kongou-is already sold out, about 5,000 us dollars. i know, too expensive. but mr. nemoto's full hand made special custom, about 1 and half month taken for production. it's for Oda Kuzan blade show in Tokyo. it was a first proto type for nemoto axe series. no one knows what's going on with him. he's reallly one of a kind in the world. if u have any question, please let me know. regards :)

Bringing a stick into the 21st Century. Who'da thunk it?

Thanks for your response Kawasaki, and no, I don't think $5000 is to much for the Axe. If that's what the market bears, that's what it's worth. Frankly, if I had $5000 to invest, and one was available, I'd spend it that way. Cutting edge cutlery is a very good investment.

im still wondering how the thing is put together...

that stick.... oooooooooooooooooh is it ever a thing of beauty
