Custom Balisong, Handmade Filipino Butterfly Knife, $300 OBO

Dimensions: blade is 3.75” long and 0.5” wide; handles are 4.25” long and each are just under 3/8” wide
weight: approx 2.25 ounces

The handle is micarta made to imitate wood and is held together with hand-tooled brass rivets. The ends of the handles are aluminum and the three aluminum rivets are purely decorative. The steel blade has developed more of a thick patina rather than a destructive rust and can be easily cleaned up and sharpened. As is, the blade appears to have had some use. One handle is marked on the flat brass piece and reads “CHD / Philipines.”

Although knife is lightweight, it is a well-weighted and compact​
