This was a custom order from a gentleman who wanted a dagger to carry when he went bow hunting in case a bear attacked. The blade is 440C with a full tapered tang, the guard is also 440C and the handle is ironwood with red liners. Overall length is 12". All feedback greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

Um, not to take away from a beautiful piece of work, but what does he expect to use it for, cutting his own throat before the bear rips it off?

lol. Maybe if he shoved it down the bears throat, it might work?

You're gonna be killin a bear, you're gonna need a bigger knife.

Looks sweet !

Haha maybe he's a large man and we're not seeing the dagger to scale, it could be 6 feet long...:p

Can I have option 3? A large bore double rifle like a 500 nitro express, or 416 Rigby or something along those lines? Preferably with a nice set of ghost ring sights and a buddy nearby with a shotgun or similar rifle. :) I've met a few bears up close in the wild, luckily never anything bigger than a large black bear that was more interested in continuing along his way to the river than bothering with me.
