I would love to see everyones custom sheaths for their Becker knives. I am interested in seeing pictures of leather, kydex, or whatever else you might have come up with.:D

Yeah, I have lots of leather and kydex, and am thinking I finally need to make some sheaths for my Beckers. It will be fun to see what people have for some ideas.

Just posted these in another thread but seems appropriate here, 2 bk14 sheaths in the works, the longer is for a piggyback the short is for back pocket. Still have trimming and shaping to do. Sorry they're not complete but its what I got!

One of my sheaths for the 16/17.

Here are my home done creations. There are plenty of options out there. If you can't find what you want, create your own.

My Basic 11 sheath Doesn't look like much but works very well, Para cord horizontal carry.
Trail Bum Kydex looks & works well
My latest 14 sheath with a clip I can use vertical & horizontal.

Here's a few. First one is a pocket sheath for my 11. The second pocket holds a firesteel and a ceramic rod for edge maintenance.

Next is a re-purposed Condor sheath. I added a firesteel loop, and a few rings for lashing or possible baldric style carry. It hold my "Bushlore" 16.

Great pictures everyone, keep them coming.

Looks like a lot of guys don't have anything loops or anything on your kydex, how do you carry them?

Also the ones showing bolts in the eyelets, are you guys using Teklok's?

How are the horizontal carry leather sheath straps attached? I was thinking of going with a dual carry leather sheath, but was not sure how to do the straps for horizontal straps.

Thanks
Greebe

I don't really belt carry anything larger than a 11 or 16 for the most part. I just use the 2 and 9 around camp mostly so the sheath is used to transport them. I sometimes carry the 2 on dayhikes Tekloked to the outside of the pack.

Yes, the bolts in the eyelets have Tekloks.

The camo/orange handled ones are used for food prep only. One stays in my kitchen, the other in a "food box" which is a clear plastic tote box always stocked ready for a weekend of camping. We never have to gather up cooking stuff for a trip it's always boxed and ready. Just have to add some food to it.

When I make a kydex sheath I do space the eyelets for a Tecloc but rarely use them. I find them bulky. I use paracord or a home made "J" clip that can be used vertically or horizontal.
