Custom blades for production knives???

I really enjoy studying the steels properties that knife blades are made from. However, not every knife is available with the best steel available.

I searched but couldn't find anything. Maybe I'm just not using the correct words.

So my question is: Are there any custom knife makers that I could send a blade to and they can make one out of a super alloy? I'm not really concerned about price as much as I want a certain alloy that is heat treated to the steel's optimal abillitiy.

And I like to tweak things...

There was a guy running around here with a Spyderco that had a custom blade. The maker was foreign. Sorry I'm not much help.

There are plenty of high quality Custom Knife Makers here that can make whatever you want.

Copying other makers designs is always an issue.

I'm looking for a blade made of CPM S110V heat treated properly based on the dimensions of a blade I provide. Dimensions I am mainly concerned about are so that the new blade works with the folder I have. Really looking for someone that has worked with CPM S110V, specifically the HT.

I really like the BM Axis Lock but can't just buy what I want regarding blade steel. Not looking to copy a blade I have--just the non-working end so it works.
