Custom bolsters

Hey guys - hypothetical situation: let's say I wanted to give my SOCFK (which should arrive tomorrow BTW), that "custom" look (titanuim bolsters, micarta scales) how would I go about doing that? Do ya think it'd be very expensive? I know titanium isn't cheap (I have no idea what the micarta goes for), and I'm sure the cost of the work shaping the Ti and scales to fit the SOCFK's frame would be a pretty penny. I'm just curious how much it'd go for. John - how about the guy who did your rhino for you? Joel? Any ideas?

Chris

You may want to get ahold of Kevin Robinson. He posted a string about his customizing Emersons, including adding bolsters.

robinson@dellnet.com

I'm not sure if Bill does bolsters, but shoot him an email

There was also another string with a lead on a guy doing bolster conversions.

Hope the leads work out for you

John

Thanks John! I shot an email to both Kevin and Bill. Hopefully Kevin's still into it - that string kind of petered out a month ago...

I'll keep you informed!
