Custom Bowie Christmas Giveaway!

I wasn't sure where I should post this. Thought it might best be suited here. Mods, feel free to move this if you see fit.

Well, I never did the customary "1000th post giveaway" so in the spirit of Christmas, I have a user custom bowie from JD Lange up for grabs. The blade is 6" long and a hair under 2" wide, with an OAL of roughly 11.5". It is differentially tempered 1095 steel with antler handles and is a great all around outdoors knife. Unfortunately, I never got around to making/getting a sheath for this so this will be for the knife only. First "I'll Take It" here gets it!

This has been used and I would like to see this go to someone who needs it and will put it to good use. So, in the spirit of Christmas, I ask that if you don't have a need for this knife or don't plan to use it, to please save it for someone who does. U.S. members only please.

It will be a fun project, this winter, while cabin fever sets in, to sheath this rascal.

WHOO HOOOO! arrived just now! oooh, very sharp and pointy! :eek:

here's a photo alongside a RAT-7, for size comparison, it's a good sized "medium" knife.
The camera flash caught all the little ripples and imperfections, but, trust me, it doesn't look like that, at all.

Tomorrow, gonna give it a keen edge, and take it to a piece of cherry wood.

I'm thinking about a home-made, rustic, wooden sheath.
