Custom Bowie, mammoth ivory handle scales?

Hey all,

I'm looking into have a custom bowie knife made, inspired by an amazing piece I saw from a Louisiana maker named Rudy Wehner. I saw the knife at a dealer, but someone bought it before I could. Here's a link to the beauty:

While I'm definitely not attempting to copy it, I love the idea of the mammoth drawings scrimshawed on the mammoth ivory scales. I'd love to have my own version with the shape and measurements of this guy here:

A bowie with that profile, mammoth ivory scales with mammoths scrimshawed on the handle is what I'm looking for. Anyone have mammoth ivory to work with that might be up for the job?

hello, the post says "link removed". i am guessing it was a knife for sale, which would not be allowed with your level of membership. an easier way might be to find a maker with a style you admire, then send them a photo of what you are looking to have made.

I wasn't sure where to look for makers so I thought I'd post here. Specifically, makers who have an option for mammoth ivory scales, with the added option of having it scrimshawed.
