Custom Bowie

Looking at D.R. Wyatt maple burl bowie on Arizona Knifes, at $425.00 would this be well bought. This is my first foray into custom knifes, would also like to know if a builder on the forum would be recommended. Thanks Guy

If you look on the "Customs" forum you're going to see the annual "Best Bowie" competition starting soon. You can search for previous years. Names that come to mind ASAP are T Steingass, Tim Bailey, and Phillip Patton, who are on this board are in that price range. I have knives from all and they are excellent value for the money.
