Thanks to the "All stag and ivory Buck thread" I've developed an affinity for custom Buck 110s and decided to add a few to my small / growing collection of Buck knives. I know that Buck's custom shop provides a few options for ordering different handles and blade steels but where are you guys finding some of the more exotic / limited production runs, etc.?

If you ever watch cutlery corner you'll see a lot of painted pony custom buck 110's with mammoth ivory, eggshell, pearl and various other materials combined into some one of a kind examples.
The only problem is the fact that they usually cost around 300$+.

SK Blades right now has a special run made by Buck, 110 with D2 steel and Cocobola handles, I do not have one but have one he had made up with BG42 that is an awesome knive. I'm waiting on one he will be having made a little later on with G10 scales and I believe CPM154, [correct me if I'm wrong]. The thing I like about these is they are 100% Buck.
Copper and Clad may have some 110's with 5160 left.
Both these guys have websites and if you scroll down a little you'll see their posts, looks like Copper and Clad are looking to do something soon.

Thanks, are you referring to cutlerycorner.net? Checking it out now.

Yes! I watch it whenever it's on, they have a lot of junk but also some good deals on quality knives.
I like a lot of the tac Force and mtech type stuff which I collect as novelties.
Micheal Prater from painted pony does some nice work, and from what I understand he basically buys up almost all of the nickle silver buck 110's to do his work on.

I like a lot of ones that Leroy Remer and Heath Stone do. They work together on lots of the knives.
Heath has posted quite a few in the "All Stag and Ivory Buck" thread.

Thanks Stumps, do they have a website / online store? Also, you do some very nice work as well...your collection is one of the primary reasons for my new addiction.

Thanks NWOS, I was planning to pick up a base 110 for an everyday user but may go with the 5160 model instead. I also signed up for their mailing list.

You should also take a look at the big auction sites and look at the "custom Buck knives" and "Limited Edition Buck knives" to give you an idea as to what can be made or is already available. Also look at the past "Sunday Picture Shows" hosted by our own ITE (Armand). Be careful these Buck knives are very additive;).

JB, could you please tell me which auction sites? You're absolutely right, very addictive. I can't stop looking at the various custom 110s...it also helps that I really like Buck as a company.
