I'm new to Fiddleback but I've asked Andy to make me a Bushfinger. In my excitement I also asked Jared Oeser to make me a sheath for it. I just got a picture of the finished product and it looks great, should be here in a couple days! I wanted to say what a pleasure it was dealing with Jared. Here is a picture. I know he's built some sheaths for other members. Great guy and would buy from him again, maybe even one of his knives.

Edit** The pic I'm trying to use is having issues. Try the link below.

I have 2 of Jared's sheath. One for my Bushfinger and the other for my Busse CABS. I mirror what you say about J. Oeser.

Talfuchre...I was also looking at your sheaths as well. The texturing on his, that I think he does with a nail or something sold me. I will be looking for another sheath when I buy my wifes knife soon. I just hope I dodn't drive Andy nuts with my emails....lol I changed my mind a few times. I decided on the Bushfinger with the G-10 Jade Green Micarta over Black scales.

Thanks Bizarro for the kind words. Here are some pics of your sheath. I think I might be one of the few knife makers that enjoys making sheaths. :D Especially for fantastic knives like Andy's.

TF, man, your sheaths are the standard to which I hold mine.;)

Thanks Jared....I'm picture challenged.
ErichM.....Beautiful combo witht he sheath and scales.

Can I ask a functional question, what purpose other than looking cool does the "curley cue" add to the knife?

Here is the last one I made. I like the dual carry option of this sheath (I think Chuddy Bear was where I got the idea it from):

I made this distresses horizontal carry - with belt loop cut out - for some bum... I can't remember his name. ;)

Here is an OLD one that I made for another Fiddleback that is a dual carry:

J - when you are putting one of these together - if you need any thing - let me know if you need anything. They were all borrowed ideas from other artists - and they were great help to me. I doubt you will - you make great leather.

Those are some pretty nice looking sheaths! I really like the one for the Ladyfinger. How is the retention?
