I've seen some very nicely done on Dan Farr's pieces. I assume you mean on handle material not engraving.

My fault....Yes, I do mean on a handle. I have a hunter with a wood handle that I'm looking to spruce up.

ANY custom stockmaker can do a very nice job doing what you wish. I would as a matter of fact, ONLY look at that avenue, because these guys do that kind of work at least weekly, and knifemakers only doing it once in a great while.
