Hey all, I started designing ( rough draft ) of a new blade. I want something that I can call my own (at least design wise)
1/4" thick, 12" Blade, 10"" cutting surface, 17-18" Overall length, 17-20 degree blade angle. Not sure about what type of steel, blade height (weight issue), or the type of grind. Any help or constructive criticism would be much appreciated.
If there are any custom knife producers who take on projects from time to time, I would love to have an experinced craftsman, not sure if I want to or have the neccesary tools to construct a knife.
I did make up a picture but unable to attach it.
