is it a sole authorship by the man himself???

I had a LDC-9 (and -109) at one time. Superb knives ! :D

I also had the same question (along with 6 or 7 more) back in early 2000. So, I sent an e-mail to CRK. This is what I received from Anne Reeve.

"Chris did not grind the blades on the LDC knives, nor was he involved specifically with any assembly. However, the design was his and he was immediately involved in overseeing all the work in the shop at that time. When any kind of problems arose with any part of the process, he was the one who fixed them!"

Like I said, "Superb knives !"

Is it just me, or does this look like a Sebenza with grooved handles? Why the name LDC9?
