Custom clips?

Anyone know who makes/sells custom clips? Specifically, I'm looking for one to fit a Spyderco (three screw).

The stock clip isn't bad, but one that's a bit more rounded and of different length would be great.

You could order some titanium clip blanks from Halpern Titanium (www.halperntitanium.com) and do them yourself. They are prebent, and you just drill and shape them as you want. They make a few different sizes. They're like $3-$5 a piece, so you can't beat it. Titanium is actually pretty easy to drill and shape if you use decent technique. Hand files can shape it pretty easily, or even a Dremel if you keep it slow and have patience. Plus, you could anodize, flame anodize, etc, as you want.

Some of the big makers should start shipping with multiple clips. One in blue/white flecks to match jeans, one in beige to match khakis and basic black.

I shouldn't have given that idea away for free......

Or an even cheaper option ( and maybe more durable ) would be to use a laser printed exact copy of common fabrics on shrink tube. They would only cost a few cents to make and could be sold for dollars each. Pick the one that matches, slip it over your clip, heat shrink and you're good to go. Knife would just disappear on your pocket.

I've made many clips for modified knives I've worked on over the years.

Feel free to contact me if you can't find one you want to work on yourself.

knifekits.com offers a "custom clip"--I had one put on my McCarty Z and I think it turned out pretty nice.
