Hello everybody!
Im looking for a knife maker of superior ability and tenure. I have a very special need and choosing the right knife maker is extremely important to me.
For all of my life I've been in love with knives, I cant really say exactly why as there are many , many reasons. Knives are like fire to me, beautiful and badass!
Im looking for the right craftsman to build the knife of my dreams! NO JOKE! This knife will be passed to my son and his and so on. I want to build the
"Mason Family Bowie" I have the design in my head and will explain to the knife maker.
I was going to order a Randall. I own and Busse... These are great but not what I'm looking for. Here is some of what I'm looking for...
My dream knife is:
Bowie
Heavy
combat capable
.25 stock or bigger
W1,2, or better steel
around 9 to 11 inches
full tang
56-58 ROC
sharpened top cutting edge
hand forged
forge marks like that Gerhard Wieland Bowie! What a knife!!!
Hard use ready!
