Who around these parts has a custom CQC7? - show me you pictures.

What do you think of it? How does it compare to the production version?

Regards,

Ed

Hi Ed,

I have a custom CQC7, but no rights to post a pic on here. If someone doesn't mind posting it for me, I'll send them the pic and ask them to do it for me.

Ed, one of the founding members of Usual Suspects Anonymous has a CQC7 on ebay with black sculpted handles. Check out eBay item# 1020043701

Ed: I have three. Probably Ernies' best tactical for all around use. e-mail me for more info.

I got this pic from JohnH

what do you mean no rights to post a pic. do you have to buy a membership to post pictures?

Clayton,

You have to be a member to post pictures directly. If you have the pictures hosted elsewhere, it is still free to post a link within the message.

Ed

Come on Suspects, there must be more CQC7s out there...

Ed,
I have a couple of pre-dates, both zero grind, one plain edge and one partially serrated. I'll post some pics over the weekend. Excellent knives. Always have been favorites of mine.

Here's a photo of a early "Pre-Tactical" that is the "Grandfather" to the modern day Custom and Production CQC7. This knife also came with the "note" from Ernie attesting to the above.

Enjoy:

And here's a couple more.

Top: Specwar CQC7 Black Micarta, No Date. This was my very first custom Emerson and fueled the fire for many additional purchases.

Bottom: Damascus Custom Handground CQC7 Blade with Production handle.

Don,

Thanks for the great pictures of great knives - can you please make them bigger next time?
