Hi BF,

Just joined the CRK folder crew with my first Umnumzaan! Love the knife...not so much the clip. Anyone have experience with Millit clips or others similiar positive or negative? I prefer that milled titanium style.

Happy Holidays!

This one came on my Large 21. I really like it, and retention is good. From on a horse to in a field of brush to 100+ on a motorcycle on the highway. Never had a problem.
Good luck getting one, if you do I wouldn’t mind a heads up. Last one I ordered (a natural micarta for my incoming 31), I waited quite a long time before requesting a refund and was given the excuse “we ran out.”

Fairly horrible clips if you ask me. Sometimes they don’t fit the clip pocket and the retention isn’t adjustable. It can be incredibly tight or incredibly loose. Gamble on which you’ll end up with.

Thanks Josh. The maker really needs to hit their design to make these milled models come out nice. That was what I was really wondering about.

Also, I know these seem to be rare as hens teeth!

Thansk Bp. Your micarta model matches great and looks factory!

They aren’t. Lots of people sell knives with them. And they commonly are produced. Last I heard Millit was doing preorders.

Maybe we differ on “rare” for a pocket clip. A pre-order for me is pretty rare.

I looked at all the online vendors I know and the bay...none for sale at the moment :(

MXG Gear makes a milled clip and a deep carry folded clip.

i’ve looked at them a time or two, but never owned one.

I have two Millit clips. Both have good retention and fit very well. But, I know some have had issues with fit and retention. Personally, for function, I like the CRK clip. It just works and works well. The two Millit clips I have were bought mainly for aesthetics. They do look good. As other have mentioned, they a little hard to find though. I have found the best place to find them on the secondary market is Facebook BST (Buy/Sell/Trade) Group or the FB Exchange. They do come up for sale fairly often.

I have Millit clips on every CRK I own/use.
I like them...if it doesnt have an inlay, they are pretty easy to adjust tension. Its titanium, so a little flex in one direction or the other will make it as tight/loose as you’d like. A bit of a learning curve for pocketing a CRK with a millit clip, but Im so used to it, I dont think twice.
Sometimes they are a touch to big to fit in the factory pocket clip slot, but a touch of sanding makes them fit just fine. Out of around 25 Millit clips I own, one was too big.
If you like to wear pants with thick pocket lips, then this is Millet’s downfall. Regular jeans, even carhart workpants are fine.

I don't care for the looks and slight added bulk of the MXG deep carry clips, but they do work very well and do so without destroying your pocket. I think the stock clips look the best, but they seem to really put wear on my pocket rim.

What are the issues with the stock clip? I’ve never had a issue with them. Imo none of the aftermarket ones I’ve seen look right on a sebenza but’s that’s the beauty of this knife world every has different taste

I really like the way the stock clips look, but they tend to chew up the rim of my pocket, which may be due to my choice in jeans--I mostly wear thicker denim, like Wranglers. The stock clips also seem to catch on stuff if I'm not careful--the welted seam on the seats in my '95 Toyota Pickup for example.

I've had a Millit and a Purvis clip. The Millit was a good looking clip, just it was too much work to put the knife in my pocket, the ramp on the clip was way too short. The Purvis clip was a good looking clip with a much better ramp. It wouldn't fit a small, which is what i got it for. I have neither one now. on all but one i have the stock spring clip, the other one i have a Impinda clip on my Ti-lock.
If they made a straight version of the Impinda clip id be all over it.

I like the stock clip perfectly fine. If I were to get a milled one it would be a Ripps Garage Tech one. They’re in stock on his website.

View attachment 1268832 Has anyone else tried the Chris Reeve clips designed by the G&G Hawk brothers of Idaho. CRK just sent me two which I installed on my Inkosi's. After arguing with myself on wether to break from the traditional, I really like this clip. It's a huge game-changer in terms of comfortable, low profile grip, and pocket retention. The only drawback I see is that they are not for free. These are on the CRK website as an official upgrade so that settled it.

@Lone_Wolfe has used them. I believe he has several of them on like 3.2 million of his CRK's. Lmao. Joking aside. If they have them in stock again I need to order a few. I like the look and they look like they would save the pocket some wear and tear.
