Here's a new one designed by one of our nation's top military rescue service, a United States Air Force Pararescueman for his carry and use in CSAR (Combat Search and Rescue). He put a good deal of time in the shop working up the design with me. As always, it's an honor to make professional knives for these guys, and I'm humbled knowing they'll be going places I personally might not survive!

Jay,
Neat design as usual. How are they rigging these knives to their gear? Are they getting an aftermarket jump rated sheath made up?

Hi, Will. They're using my sheaths. In addition to the 1.75" die formed corrosion resistant aluminum belt loops shown, I also supply flat strap clamps that they use to secure to their PALs webbing on MOLLE gear. I also make many postively locking waterproof combat grade sheaths for wear upside down, across the sternum in jumps.

Thanks,
Jay

Ahhh, that answers it. My jumpmasters used to be kinda lax about gear until one day when we were jumping some new equipment releases and lost about $750,000 or so in gear across the drop zone. It was amazing to watch gear raining from the sky. Apparently all of us that jumped that day had everything we were every issued in our rucks ;)
