Need help with first sharpening. Properly heat treated and tempered. Medium carbon steel. Got it fairly sharp but not as sharp as desired. Any tips greatly appreciated. Thanks
 
I recommend a Lansky sharpening kit.

Hasnt let me down yet. Can be had for an okay price.

Gets the angle right, which is fairly important.
