Hey Guys, i am new to this forum, and this is my first venture with putting any of my work online. I have been making knives for about 7 years now. i figured it was time to try and get my work out there and get reviews and feed back. thanks a lot for looking, you can call me Elliot. Hope you enjoy


this is one of my more recent knives, it is 13" long and 5mm thick. The blade is composed of 1095 & 15n20 the guard and butt cap are hand forged of the same. I also put a lot of work into the filing along the spine. Handle is made of real bull horn and fossilized giraffe. Sheath is hand crafted to fit this exact knife, premium calf skin leather

thank you for your feed back, once i pay the membership fee i think I am going to put some up for sale. probably for relatively cheap since i want to get my name out there, and i definitely want a lot of people to be able to see in person the quality of my craftsmanship. The stag handle Bowie is my favorite.
Just a warning, some here don't care for spine file work and Giraffe bone. ;)
 
Thank you for your input, i just create what ever my customers want :). hopefully this one will be a bit more appealing, with authentic camel bone and very minimal file work.

Stag handle, 12.5 inches in length, full tang. the tang itself has a lot of hand filing. all of which was done by me.

Welcome egally08,I really like your work.Love the choice of materials & the way you blend them.However I think the file work is a little 'too much' for my taste.Especially on the guard.

No offence intended,just being honest. :o

thanks for the input fellas, ya i am going to sign up so i can sell. as of now i am working on some that wont have any file work. i have a few sheets of cpm440v that I've been wanting to work, but as most of you know its really hard to work with, and i have to make sure i take my time with it. I did come across some very nice Sambar stag from India which is really rare (i was shown the receipt that it was exported from India before they banned it, so I'm all clear there) that I'd like to put on the finished project. since a few people have noted to not being a big fan of some of the ones I've posted i want my first one i sell on here to be really top notch quality.
