So my fiancé’s boss is a big deer hunting guy. She wanted me to make him a knife for Christmas because he didn’t have a decent knife to use! He had been using the same $20 pocket knife for years. The bevel was ground down a tonnnn from sharpening it over the years and he definitely needed an upgrade. So I got my best deer skinning model and made him this beauty for Christmas.
His favorite color was blue so I used one of my favorite blue burlaps. Threw some blue stripes on it with natural liners. Since he’s not an avid knife guy, I gave him a stainless steel (Nitro V to be specific) so he doesn’t have to worry too much about it rusting like he would with carbon steels. I also threw in a buck mosaic to really top it off.
I added the Jera rune to the flats which is a Norse rune to symbolize harvest and growth
