Doesn't the Tasman Salt already use the Delica frame? Why switch them?

Even though they look the same, theTasman frame is different. No liners or backspacer.

The blade is. Probably wanted to use the signet ring with that hawk style blade so compromises had to be made.

If spyderco would just make a plain blade delica "harpy" in vg10 we'd be set.

Apparently you've never had a vg10 harpy serrated then. Ive had a Harpy and a Tasman. Although the H1 is absolutely rust proof, I used the Harpy like crazy and never had a rust issue, and the vg10 is much much sharper...like a razor!

For a normal EDC, sure, VG10 is an amazing choice .
