Im looking for a good custom fixed blade that i can carry with me everyday. I want something traditional, with wood/leather handle. Maybe stag or something. I dont want any black crap on the blade. Just a nice clean fixed blade.Im in GA so it has to be under 5 inches in blade length. Everything else is fine legal wise. im not a steel snob either. Something around 150 would be ideal. 200 is still the very end of my budget.; Any recommendations?

Head over to the Knife Makers Market: Fixed Blades sale section. There are SO many fantastic, talented craftsmen over there selling their work that you can spend a lot of time browsing. Many of them will also take custom orders. The prices for what you're getting is usually much more than fair, sometimes borderline crazy. Check it out.

If you want a full custom (ie, give a maker your exact specs and have it made) definitely check out the knifemakers services and for sale area. If you're OK with a custom that's pre-made to a certain pattern, take a look at the Bradford Guardian 3. 3" blade in a classic shape, Nicely textured G10 handles, M390 blade steel. Comes in a variety of blade finishes and handle colors, and with or without swedge. Runs about $150-160, and you can find the most recent batch in stock right now at Blade HQ and other major online knife retailers.

It should be noted that these are really more "midtech," as they're not made by Bradford alone.

I own 2 JK knives, he has a subforum here. The one I edc the most I think is called skeleton EDC (because of the drilled out handle). For the most part his knives will be under your budget.
