As some of you may know, I make some scales when I have the time. It is not my job, just a hobby. I started doing it at the end of last year. I have not had much time in the past few months to make much, but it is looking like I may have some extra free time to work on some stuff in the coming month. I would like to purchase a new shaping table to help with my scales, so I am putting up some scales for sale to help with the bill. Most of these were my just trying to learn to make things right, but they are good enough to make most people happy (or so I have been told by lots of my friends). If you are a normal guy, you will probably like these scales. If you are super picky, please don't buy any. There is a lot of hand work involved in these, which leads to imperfections. I am trying to get the process sorted, but I still have to do a lot by hand.

First I'll take it in posts, followed by PM, please. Posts trump PM's. Feel free to PM me with questions if you need to.

First up are some Emerson scales. I have two sets that were my first attempt at this style. Don't expect perfection here, but they are pretty good. One set is green, pistachio and black and the other is black and tan (which looks gray). They are a little over sized from stock, since I use mostly .125 thick G10. Stock Emerson's are usually in the .100 range in their scale thickness. Jump on these bargains, since I don't know when I will make more and the next ones will probably be more $$.

These are $45 $35 a set, shipped CONUS.

The green ones look like this mounted, (Knife not included in sale!) The gray ones will look about the same.

Next I have a couple of sets that I will discount more. The only mistake I made on these is to have put the channel through the area of the screw holes, so the clip wants to raise. You can find a way to fix it pretty easily if you are handy, i just don't want to fool with it.

This pink set also wants to raise the clip, which you can see in the picture. They are also kind of "dirty", in that the G10 is not super clean. I have been told by some makers that this is common with pink and that you can clean it up a bit by scrubbing them with various cleaning agents.

This set is $25 $20, shipped Conus

I may make some for the ZT series in the future, but not right now. I do not plan to sell any of my Emersons.

Priced drop on these scales, I can't believe no one wants some cheap scales ...

Received mine today. Great looking scales, fit and finish is superb. Absolute top notch work here by AncientSword at a very reasonable price IMO.

No, these are all standard, right hand drilled for clips. You can easily drill them for left hand if you want, but you would probably want to tap the liner as well. I am not doing it at this price ...
