Hey Guys, I received my custom engraved Large Sebenza Today. I think it turned out pretty good and will be a Great EDC. I am a HUGE Fan of NCIS and with Gibbs Rule #9 being " Never Go Anywhere Without A Knife " OR "Always Carry A Knife" I thought this would be perfect to have engraved on my Large Sebenza. The first was too long to fit on the back because they have a limit they can squeeze on there, so we settled on " Always Carry A Knife". Its blasted over like the Think Twice Cut Once Sebenza. I thought that would hold up the best for EDC. Plus I had Double Studs installed. I think they work far better on a large than on a small. They also replaced the near stripped screws for me as well. I would like to thank Heather at CRK for ALL her help, advise and patients as I emailed her MANY times finding out what could be done and what could not. Let me know what you guys think !!!

I LOVE that!! And I have been following that rule for 35 years.

That is wicked cool!! CONGRATS!!

What, no swedge?

looks good though.

I did think long and hard about a swedge, then I opted against it as I like the regular style blade more and wanted to stay away from the "Buck Knife" look. If I had to do it over again, the only thing I think I would change would be to leave the letters silver and not have them blasted over. I think they would stand out even better. But I was thinking more of heavy EDC and I think the blasted over letters will stand out better over time. And since I was using a existing knife, options are very limited. If I went with a sbenza 21, I can have colors and the works. My wife already said I can have another one done up later this summer, so what I did not do with this one, I can do on another. :D

Out-freaking-standing! That was a great idea and I really like the way it turned out.

As for doing a Sebenza 21 this summer.........I think you need to remember Gibbs Rule #15: Always work as a team. :D
Maybe color the NCIS green and the other text blue? Silver double thumb studs.
Could even do a numbered, limited run if there is enough interest.
I also wonder if there might be the possibility of a different blade steel. (BG-42 would be awesome, wouldn't it)

Just some Friday afternoon mussings.....but this would really be cool to do.
