Here's a Stretch with an engraved blade, file work on the lock, spine, and liners. What do you think?

The reflection better shows the file work to the liner:

Did you do this work?

It's not my cup of tea but if you like it that's all that matters.

looks great!! I think it would be more fitting on the cf stretch though, since it has "higher end" handles

or better yet, get your hands on a kopa or kiwi and get to work! or somthing with stainless handles so you could do those as well.

Thank you for the kind words! :)

I'll see if I can find any pictures of Spyderco handles I've engraved.

wow, nice work. what tools did you use to engrave the blade? it must have taken youawhile to do all that. good job!

Thanks! It sure is a royal PITA to do, but I enjoy it. I use a hammer & chisels, as well as a dental drill.

Thats my favorite version of the stretch with full spydie edge. Its not something I would do to my blade, but the work there is awesome. I do however like what you did to the the spine, now I would consider having that done.. Great work..

You clearly have some talent.

I think it would look better on a CF version as the FRN pattern conflicts with the engraving. Too "busy" looking.

Keep at it and post up the pics!
